Keiji Ikari is procrastinating
Well, I can certainly say that 2007 was my best year yet… now I wonder if there’s an equivalent goal for 2008?

I don’t know if it was my best year yet, but it was definitely one of the best. I had my son in September last year and everything else in my life is just going great. I started school again (after I had dropped out over a year and half prior) and finally beat depression. All of my acne cleared up except the scars (but now I have more than ever =[). Last year was a great year to remember.

2007 was the best year of my life so far, and I can’t wait for 2008 to be even better. Once I figured out what I needed to do, there was a seismic shift in the way I was living my life, and there is no going back now.

I earned my teaching credential and went to Belize for the first time, so I think 2007 was pretty decent. Also, I ended a relationship that had been dead in the water for a while and even though it was sad, it was necessary.
I won’t say it was the best year EVER because 2008 will be even better!
Was 2007 my best year yet? Well, I’m still alive in 2008, so I guess 2007 was pretty good. I got a lot of stuff published, got into grad school, had a great summer job that taught me a lot about life, read a lot of books, went out on the town with friends, made lots of new friends, and learned how to crochet. It was a pretty good time.

...now for 2008 (and, maybe, actually sticking to a couple goals… and setting some for that matter)

It wasn’t a bad year, and certainly better than many I can remember. But it does feel like it was another year of preparation rather than being the real thing. On the positive side, I know I now have the tools I need to get the results I want; it’s just a question of applying them. I’ve also met some great people who I know will support me, as I support them in achieving their dreams.
So, goodbye 2007! You weren’t my best year yet, but I will still remember you fondly. And hello 2008! I think I’m liking you already. :-)
