Visit Granada

Fearing this will end up on the not-done-in-2008-list. The plan was to go with my mother on a city trip here, but upon thinking WHEN this could happen I ended up coming to November. But I don’t think November would be a good time of the year, too chilly already and all. So there’s a very great chance it will be something for 2009…

Well, my mother and I were planning on going on a citytrip still this year (2008) and we were both thinking about Granada. I’m not yet sure if we will actually go, but I’m making this into a goal. Mainly because it’s always hard for me to leave my cat behind, even though my dad is staying home to take care of her (she can’t go to other people or an animal-hotel or so – we tried and it didn’t work out). But I actually really want to go visit Granada and see the things there (I love Spain – especially Lanzarote but Spain is Spain!). So, a new goal :)

Granada es preciosa y La Alhambra merece, realmente, plantearse como una de las nuevas maravillas del mundo. Llevaba muchísimo tiempo queriendo ir para allá, es uno de esos (tantos) lugares que siempre me han llamado la atención(aunque este especialmente).

Todo el viaje fue improvisado, en plenos exámenes, con un ojiazulado americano al que había conocido poco tiempo antes y con el que viví dos días absolutamente surrealistas…y geniales:)

Quizá por eso el viaje fue (aún) mejor de lo esperado…

PD.Me llamaron muchísimo la atención los grafittis granaínos…verdadero arte urbano. Ya publicaré algunas fotillos en el flickr.

5days during Inter-rail through Europe! Visit the Alhambra! Sleep into the Hostal Dona Lupe! The owner is a great man!

I spent 4 of the best months of my life in that beautiful city!
