become a race car driver

HI,how to become a race driver if you just have a talent and you want to do this job?

Since my last update I’ve made a lot of progress but am still a long way from my ultimate goal. I’ve attended a few racing schools which gave me the opportunity to learn how to race in a open wheel, single seater formula car. I progressed to do two rookie race weekends at the racing school; in the first I won the pole and the main race, in the second I qualified 2nd, won the qualifying race but made a mistake and spun out while leading the main race and finished 4th. The experiences racing were awesome, unmatched by anything else I’ve ever done. I am motivated to continue racing and learn from my mistakes.

I’ve also had the opportunity to compete with some of the best karters on the continent in a karting shootout for a seat in a pro racing series. Although I was not selected to move on to the final selection, I learned from it and with my limited experience in racing, I think I proved I have what it takes.

However, to take the next step I will likely have to raise money to fund my endeavors. Thus, in addition to continuing to improving my actual racing skills, I am also focused on unique sponsorship ideas suitable for this tough economy.

In the meantime, I am continuing to hone and improve my skills where I can. Both indoor(rental) karting and racing simulators offer me the opportunity to stay sharp and polish my technique. Obviously there is no substitute for seat time in a pure racing car or kart, but at the least, indoor karting and racing sims are a lot of fun and relatively affordable.

Finally I’ve had the opportunity to do some testing of an electric racing kart prototype, including a demonstration drive at a public event. Racing has always been an innovative sport, and there’s big potential today for racing to promote and develop new technologies in our street cars of the future. It’s just awesome to be involved in the process.

i have been driving for a few years now but no racing experience. I have always wanted to do it but never had the chance due to financial difficulties and not having the time. However if given the opportunity i could make time and try to pursue my dream of racing.

All my life all i wanted was to race since i was a babe i was near cars . I am adicted to rocing and its not somthing i can get rehabed for. But i need to what others are doing and what it takes to make a living out of this… This is no hoby or a sunday stroll in the park this is life or deaf for me.

I’ve wanted to be a race car drivers (road courses) for some time now. I got into racing about 4 years ago playing gran turismo 4, and now I play forza motorsport 2. I have had the opportunity to drive some good cars at local autocross events and have placed 1st or 2nd each time and have driven at our local track here. I am a good driver for having such little experience. I just need money and someone on the inside to bring out my full potential! Here’s to hoping!

I really love driving/racing, its the only thing i want to do, every time i have a chance to go fast i do and i love it, when its safe i always treat the road like a track and i love it.

I want to do it everyday, i feel like its the only thing i am good at.
I dream about being a race car driver and i cant stop thinking about racing, i’ll work so hard for it, i’ll pretty much do and drive anything.

I just need to know how i can do this. Help!!

The one thing I’ve wanted for longer then anything else, more then anything else, is to be a race car driver. My dream is to become a professional race car driver. I know this probably won’t happen, but I don’t think I could live with myself if I didn’t try.
