I travel over to Silicon Valley on 30 Sept, for the Web 2.0 Conference but also to immerse myself in the home of the Web. I’m staying with the guys from TechCrunch (fellow Web 2.0 chroniclers). really excited!

I do want to write a book about the Valley, from an outsider’s perspective (in terms of geography). But also I’m quite fascinated by the tech history of the place. It’s Geek Mecca, Nerd hollywood. Bah, maybe I’m just deluded.

Unless you’re coming on business, there’s not a lot of reason to visit as a tourist. Maybe I’m just jaded because I work there, though :-).
