after years of suffering from homesickness, constantly yearning to jump into the pacific ocean, reminiscing on memories of growing up in guam, i finally made the move back to the islands. while hawaii is no guam, it’s surely comparable – if not better. the big island, where i reside, has the population of guam and probably triples or quadruples my small home island in size. it’s a wonderful place, and although inter-island travel gets expensive, it’s nice to have those islands so nearby and accessible for further exploring. 9 months ago

Went with my sister for vacation before school started. I just love it there! Being able to wear shorts and tank top and sandals everyday. We went to the beach to see the sunset almost everyday. It was magical :-) 11 months ago

March 2nd 2011 I moved to Maui. When I bought my one way plane ticket in January, I had $500 in the bank, less the cost of my ticket. When I made a firm decision to go, the forces of the universe conspired to get me there. It was an amazing 10 month journey. Last month, I left Maui, at least for now, to pursue better job opportunities on the mainland and be closer to my family. I am so glad I took the chance :-) 15 months ago
