A wonderful prayer morning. I prayed at home today and had a very deep and meaningful time. I went to work relaxed and clear headed.
Taking this Mitzvah on daily is really helping me become a more complete person and it gives me peace.

I’ve posted a picture of myself after the end of morning prayers. Those knowledgeable will see that I am in the process of taking off the Tefillin.
This is a wonderful way to center myself at the start of each day. It takes commitment, but the reward is great. I feel like I have accomplished something important and I have not even started my work day.
I am really unable to describe my feelings properly on wearing Tallit and Tefillin. These are wonderful Mitzvot (plural of Mitzvah) and I feel very close to G-d while doing this act.
Spending one on one time with my Rabbi doesn’t hurt either ;-)

I am about to launch into a daily commitment of wearing Tallit and Tefillin every day except on Shabbat and Holidays that do not permit it.
Rabbi and I are going to start out doing it together and I plan to wake up early enough to do this before leaving for work.

I was very bad during the crush of finals and have just started laying tefillin again this past week. It’s very hard to set the routine.

When I remember to do it, laying tefillin in the morning allows me to put my life in perspective.
