keep promises

It’s been a month, and I haven’t regressed. I show up on time for work, for appointments. I visit my mom every Sunday as promised. And I don’t weasel out of anything anymore just because it might be an inconvenience for me, like chores.

I’m ticking it done. But if I regress, I’m goint to put it back on my list. For now though, I’m basking on the glow of accomplishing this.

I’m showing up on time to all of my dates and appointments! Yay! No more disrespecting anybody by my tardiness. I’m going to see if I can keep this up for a month and then I’m ticking it done.

I’ve kept my promise to my mom to visit her this Sunday. I know it doesn’t seem much but it’s a start. I could have just stayed at my apartment and just read books all day long or I could have stayed longer at the mall, hanging out in Starbucks after watching a movie with my girlfriend. But instead, I am here.
