I used to walk an hour every day but had to stop because I was too consumed between work and school. I’d like to take that up again, or at least do other things like going to the pool and beach and playing basketball and bike riding with my husband. Maybe I can start out by making sure I do something outdoors on each day off and then expanding to my (4) weekdays as well.

I put in a pool this last summer ‘09 and can see that this will definitely lead to more time outside for me personally PLUS more family time with the kids and my husband. Especially since this last summer in Michigan was much milder than summers past it was easier to be outside and not in the air-conditioned house.

I was outside on Saturday and all day yesterday. Yesterday I wasn’t really enjoying nature/the scenery which is kind of the purpose of this goal, instead I was behind my computer screen all day. It’s just so bad that you can take your computer outside with you and forget the natural world. You’re in it but you don’t realize it or pay attention to it. But it’s so tempting and way more interesting to be on the computer while I’m sitting out there than… what? look at the sky or the trees? give my cats some attention? actually just sit and think? and not have to do anything?

I spent some time outside today. It was so nice. I loved it. I didn’t even mind being hot and sweaty.

i want to be out side first i going to mariners game july 7th baltimore then this friday the aqurium maybe zoo too. and get free tickets to each thing at work. and then just money for gift shops and cameras then walking lots more or biking perhaps to. and beaches and parks near by to go to echo lake park and meridian ones. yes try this more often. love outdoors and summer. ha-ha!!oh yeah perhaps get lessons riding horses and buy horse soon 450.00 one. and then others like to.
