Finally realized that the money situation isn’t going to get better in the foreseeable future (unless I learn how to buy lottery tickets in French. Hell, I don’t know how to do this in English!)
Anyhow, I finally got my bank card replacement (10 months it took!!!) and did the Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) euro-a-week automatic debit thing. Woo-hoo! It’s small, but at least I feel like I’m doing something.
Once I’ve got a coat and a pair of winter shoes I’m gonna sign up with the World Wildlife Federation.

—catch up with the outstanding bills (probably mid-January) I think I will do that automatic debit thing with Médecins Sans Frontiers (Doctors Without Borders.) They seem to be pretty reputable. Now I just need to pick a good group helping animals. This is going to be a tough decision. Any recommendations?

I give money to www.heifer.org. They buy livestock and train 3rd world families how to raise them and get self relient.
