Charlie is optimistic about the future.
The house is a mess, my finances are a mess, my head is a mess.
Two things occurred to me last week- the only way to live comfortably as an attorney is to run your own firm; and I don’t have enough money in the bank to survive without income until a practice takes off. So I am stuck in this revolving survival rut- getting by, but not ahead.
I am looking into ways to pay the rent in the meantime if I go this route; but one of the things keeping my shizzle on the frizzle is my job- low pay, and high dissatisfaction.

As you all may know, my shizzle was on the frizzle all summer. I am just emerging from a fog, and taking the baby steps to repair the damage.
