    ...about distance. I’ve never loved or missed my parents, little sister, and nutball extended relatives more. The traditions that I fondly reminisce over give me a lot of strength and joy. Though this goal is always continuous, I’d say mission: accomplished.

    i talked to my mom on the phone like a teenager for an hour at work. i called my grandmother the other day just because i thought of her. and my sister called me, and we talked a litt, but she’s really busy BUT- i’m going to see her in austin soon enough
