I’ve yet to get the first one published, but I’ve written another one. I’m excited about this collection of short stories. We’ll see how it goes!

I’ve been told several times that I should write a book about my journey and finally one of the last times that someone said that to meand offered to help I accepted. Now I’m currently working on it and hope to get it published. It’s a good journey with lots of twists and turns. The ending might surprise you!

I’ve only just started on this the other day. It’s probably a bit premature to say it’s a book, it’s only 3 pages of notes so far! But I’m at that stage where I have a million and one ideas buzzing around my head. Hopefully it’ll be something that I can work on and return to over the coming years. I’m not kidding myself.. at the rate that I work at, it’ll probably take me over a decade to write it! But at least it will be something to aim towards! :D

Keeping focused on the dream

I have had the book turned down by an agent and a literary competition—all within a week. That was kind of tough. moreover, I haven’t had the change to do any writing. But I’m staying focused on the dream…AND I’ve started another book for good measure. It will happen. I won’t stop until it does.

The book has been completed and is on its rounds. So, part 1 is finished “all” I have to do now is get it published.

Went away on vacation and finished the book! Now, I’m just working on refining a few passages and proofreading…

After almost a year of not writing at all-not creating anything at all-I’m back at it and it’s going well. The challenge is always finding time in the midst of all the other stuff that I do—like work. But I am determined to get this into its next draft and back out there again!
Timid Magick should come back here more often. These goals are important.

Eventually they stop asking how your book is coming and think you will never finish it. I’ve had many failed starts. I’m beginning to think it was a foolish dream of youth although it’s something I’ve wanted to do as long as I can remember.
