Wyatt is struggling.
Instead of coloring with my box of one hundred and twenty crayons, I removed all crayons from the box and organized them by color. By the time that I had finished arranging them, I no longer wanted to color.
How I did it: Much of my original struggle to color with crayons was lack of anything to color. I am not an artist; I cannot create my own pictures. That is discouraging.
I received my coloring book this afternoon. As soon as I opened it, I found my pack of crayons and made a place for myself to color in the line-art.
The drawings are simple, but they interest me, and simple is good given my handwriting and the effort I have to put in to stay inside the lines.
Now that I have colored once, I can proceed to my other goals involving crayons.

I just colored with crayons for the first time in years. I forgot how much fun it is!
I enjoy coloring, especially in coloring books with mandala designs. Before I moved to CA, I would meet a friend for coffee and we’d color while we chatted. People would stop by our table and comment on how much fun it looked. It was!
