Teach someone to read and to write

Teaching somebody to read and write has been one of the most fulfilling experiences I’ve had.

Having all I need to live comfortably, I felt the need to help and share my gifts.
In Mexico, eventhough most of the population know the basics (read, write, maths) You can still find people who are not alphabetized.

So, I found someone. She was the lady who helped my sister with the house cleaning. Her name was Tina.

It was very satisfying seeing how she was making progress.
At the end, she could read a letter that her son wrote her from the States.
She hugged me so hard! Seeing her so happy, and with a new world in front of her, really touched my heart. :) 6 years ago
