hike the Foothills Trail of SC/NC

I am leaving for this on June 10. I’ll be hiking roughly East to West, four days to the Whitewater Falls overlook at Lake Jocassee, camping on the lake for three or four days, and then hiking the final three days to the Western terminus.

Everything is planned and ready, so I will be knocking this one off the list this summer.
It should take about 6 – 6.5 walking days, and I am taking a couple of lazy days at lake Jocassee in the middle.

This one is 80 miles and probably a good one to start with
