At LEAST 50 years!!! Maybe more if God allows... 2 months ago

We’ve been married for 15 years so I’d like to celebrate our 50th Anniversary someday, but I’d like to stay married until the day I die.

33 So Far 2 years ago

We celebrated our 33rd anniversary in April of 2006 and are still going strong. The course has not always been easy but the journey has sure worth it. The company’s been great and we’ve got some great memories to cherish!

We’ve survived those beginning years, the college years, the new baby years even the terrible twos and the teen-age years, the weddings, the empty nest, the losses of a daughter and a father, the gaining of a daughter of our hearts, moving numerous times and we’ve even survived all of the in-laws. Ok, he’s also survived my endless moving of the furniture and multiple repaintings of the house as well as all of the dogs.

We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve fought and best of all we’ve made up. Through everything in our lives, we’ve always been side-by-side and I hope that we continue on through the end in just the same manner.

Here’s to you, my love, and the new memories we’ll be making just around the corner! I know we’ll make the 50 easy… how about we go for 75!!

Nine Years...41 left to go 2 years ago

We celebrated our ninth anniversary in January - and yeah, I know it’s March now, thanks - without much fanfare, but that’s all right. Cos I know that I’m surprised, pleasantly so, that we’ve made it this far.

I mean, I remember that when he first announced our engagement - Come on, I was in Nebraska, people, who was I going to tell? - they thought he was nuts. Marry me? The uber bitch? The crazy slut? Yeah, fun, right?

But he stuck it out (and stuck it in at least twice ;-)) and though we’ve had some serious rough patches, we’ve made it.

    Thank the gods!
