So I made it though the most arduous journey of my entire life. I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in interior design (Cum Laude might I add). I could not be more proud of myself and what I have accomplished. For my senior thesis, I designed a 19,000+ square foot luxury bowling alley and it was nothing short of amazing. It is so great to know that I have been trained to accomplish such an overwhelming task on my own. Now my next task is getting my interior design license by taking the NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) test. But there is a catch, in order to even sit for the exam, I have to get at least two years of work experience under a licensed designer or architect. As we all know jobs are so hard to come by at this point in time. I’m going to keep praying, and hopefully I can move on towards being the successful interior designer that exists only in my dreams.

Interior Design school is harder than I ever could’ve ever imagined. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. Please pray for me. I’ll be a successful interior designer one day, but it’s gonna take a lot.
i’ve been offered a place on a course starting in september…one step closer to my dream
