finish my half sleeve

Once summer is over and I don’t have to worry about sunscreen I can start thinking about finishing both arms. I’m sort of tired of explaining to people that they’re not done.

Now I have two half sleeves that are both not quite finished. The second one (not pictured) should actually be done in a couple of weeks. We just ran out of time at the convention. My artist added skull-faced cherry blossoms and smoky swirls around the White Tara she did a few years back. I wasn’t expecting to sleeve that arm when I went to see her, but I love it. Pics soon…

I did the dreaded inner arm yesterday—got a Miss Van girl that stops about in inch short of my armpit. It was painful but not as horrible as I was expecting. I go back in a few weeks to do all the background work, and then I’m done. Hooray!

It’s getting there. Still no work done on the underneath part, mostly because I’m dreading the pain of that sensitive area.
