travel at least once a year

My parents never really traveled so I didn’t learn it from them. Through my relationship with Megan, I learned what a joy traveling could be. In order to be able to achieve this goal, I am going to need to straighten out my finances so I have the ability to do so.

Except for 2005, which was a bad year, I always go somewhere outside of my state every year. It is great to have a break away and have something to look forward to.

Just bought a ticket to fly to Michgan for a wedding in August. I’ve never been to Michigan even though my Dad grew up there. I’m looking forward to seeing another part of the U.S. that I’ve never seen.

I’m not going anywhere exotic, just back to where I grew up. I have several family memebers still in that area, and I try to visit once or twice a year.

So, if I’m not here or not here much in the next 5 days, don’t worry about me. It just means I may not have time to spend on a computer.

I’m going to see my Mom in the middle of this month which means escaping this awful heat for slightly less heat in New England.

Later this week I am going to a conference for a couple days, and I think it will be fun.

We’re seeing family this weekend and again in August (most likely month). It’s not somewhere new and exciting, but it’s travel.

I’d really like to go somewhere I haven’t been before, but my husband gets very little vacation time. That sucks. And, I can’t just go somewhere that he would want to go too. It just doesn’t seem fair to him. We do other stuff separate, but travelling to new places is something we both love.
