I am enjoying watching films on the list when I do, but I feel I am “having” to watch them rather than wanting to. I’ve recently also got a Netflix account, and to be honest a lot of the time I feel like watching a completely different movie. Recently I’ve (re)watched and enjoyed Speed, Three Amigos, Airplane!, Spaceballs, The Inbetweeners (every episode), The Hunger Games and today Unbreakable. I quite enjoy watching just what I feel like, rather than an old classic (All About Eve has been sitting in the house waiting to be watched for about 3 weeks now lol!). I will still work towards this goal, but I might slow down somewhat. Current total is 169/250. 3 days ago

Watched this last night with my sister. Was decent enough, though we guessed most of the twist pretty early on! 1 week ago
Wow! One of my favourite movies I’ve ever seen!
That’s all the top 50 watched – only 4 left in the top 100 now! 1 week ago
Another Japanese film, this time dealing with several different peoples differing recollections of the same incident. Not amazing… 3 weeks ago
Really touching film about a Stasi Agent in Cold War East Germany who becomes obsessed about a couple he is spying on… 3 weeks ago
Alfred Hitchcock has more movies in the Top 250 than any other director. Deservedly so. At first this film didn’t really grab me too much, was average at best. But the twist was fantastic – never saw it coming in a million years! 3 weeks ago
One of the top movies ever made according to the IMDB list. It seems a bit dated now but set the scene for the majority of action movies made today. 3 weeks ago
Interesting story about Mozarts life (And death).
Current totals: 161/250 (also 90 out of top 100) 4 weeks ago
Singing in the Rain was a classic musical, fairly enjoyed it!
Gravity is this years big new movie, to be honest I enjoyed it but thought the hype affected how much I liked it… 1 month ago
Pretty long movie (I watched the directors cut at 3:28), gave a good feeling of what it must’ve been like to be on a German U boat in WWII. 1 month ago
My third anime film in the top 250, probably enjoyed this one more than the others. Really good film! :) 2 months ago
Great WW1 Stanley Kubrick movie with Kirk Douglas. Brilliant battle and trench scenes for it’s time – also the court martial part was interesting too! 2 months ago
Japanese animation about a brother and sisters experiences during WWII. Not a massive fan of Japanese animation, but it was decent enough… 2 months ago
Watched this a few days ago, the 43T blog can’t have saved properly. Really enjoyable coming of age film! 2 months ago
Had been putting off watching this one, but really enjoyed it! :) 2 months ago
Powerful film about people’s struggles with addiction and the effects. 2 months ago
OKish old movie – I can see that for it’s time it must’ve been really impressive. 2 months ago
2007 film charting the true story of a young man who decides to give his entire $24,000 savings to charity and travel America (including time in the wilderness of Alaska) instead of going on to University. Enjoyed it most of the way through, I don’t want to spoil the film but in the end I started to think “Really? People look at this guy as a hero? Think he had some great ideas but he also seemed either naive or stupid. 2 months ago
Got 3 months of DVD rental (2 at a time) and streaming for £9.99 as part of a “welcome back” offer. Glad to see the website had saved all my movies I had queued up, saves a lot of work! 2 months ago
Its been a while since I last watched a film from the top 250 – 5 that I had previously watched have already dropped off the list. Watched this French film today, uplifting comedy drama about a quadriplegic aristocrat who hires a young black man from a poor neighbourhood to be his carer. Decent film, not sure if it deserves its 62nd best movie ever status on imdb but good nonetheless. 2 months ago
