How I did it: I asked around and got the name of a T&E lawyer. I called him and arranged to meet to discuss our needs. He drafted documents and we reviewed them. Then we met with the lawyer and witnesses to sign the documents. Sounds easy, but I had to force myself to stay on track with it because it's just so easy to procrastinate on this one. got a referral to a T&E attorney and I made an appointment for P and me to meet with him. It won’t be cheap, but I think it’ll be pretty easy. Bonus: he works at my former firm, but he’s willing to meet me at my house so I don’t have to go there and set off my PTSD. 3 years ago

I am not getting around to scheduling an appointment with Garvey Schubert and Barer, and this absolutely needs to be done. Since I’m procrastinating, it’s going up on 43things.
Estate law has changed since we did it last; our kids are not teeny-tiny any more, which affects some things; my parents are not as in good health, either.
I wish the search feature on 43T was better—it is impossible to find other people with the goal using the word, “will”. 6 years ago
