I was limited by the capacity of the CD (70 minutes or so) and had to made some painful choices. Sisters of Mercy, Smiths, Jeff Buckley, all gone. But the resultant CD, of which I am already wearing out my own copy, is glorious!
I think it totally dates me…I’ll tune into a “classic” rock station, and know& love all of the songs.
I think there is an “ultimate” playlist and a “now playing regularly” one….there has got to be a context… This is what I listen to regularly on my iPod.
Also sometimes, I’ll go on a jazz tangent or listen to symphony or two for a week at a time… maybe even a choice opera. This was my “rock” list.
