I’m learning to chill out a bit and ironing on a Sunday afternoon watching movies is pretty easy! Wish I’d started this a long time ago – I look much smarter wearing blouses to work!

My ironing pile is no longer a mountain. Just a few items, that I can iron in less than 20 mins.
Well, I made a start this week. Basically got this week’s ironing done, plus cleared a little from the backlog. And what a backlog it is! If I continue at this rate, I should get through it by…2010?? But seriously, I think this is the way to go. Just need to get into a routine.
I’m going to celebrate by replacing my ricketty old ironing board. If I can keep the ironing under control for a whole month, I’ll call this goal achieved.
I’ve been managing this pretty consistently for the past 4 or 5 weeks, so I’m going to tick it off while I still can.
I love being able to pick my clothes out of the wardrobe, instead of wrestling with 3 baskets of ironing mountains, trying to find something that can be ironed quickly.
Very rarely motivate myself to do ironing – often do it when I’m meant to be studying!! anything to avoid studying!
I just realise I am buying new clothes because I am at a stage that I am out of things to wear and haven’t done my ironing for a very long time. Must get this done in the next couple of days…
