I think this is a brilliant idea…i love it:)!!!

    Read it 1 year ago

It wasn’t so good…I have the entire collection on C.S. Lewis’ preffered order….but after the first book, they started to get boring…I did like that one though…but…seriously…the rest are a dissapointment. :’(

I had read them so long ago that i forgot a lot of what happened in the books. Now that I’ve refreshed my memory, and they are good books so it was worth it.

I read all the Narnia books to my son when he was small,
per request, over and over and …over
While we waited for a bus, while we rode the bus, while we waited for the next bus, and in the evening as we didn’t have a TV (by choice)

I got a call when he was 19, thanking me, for, among other things, reading to him… :)

The Narnia stories are timeless and full of insights and quirky revelations into the human condition

I read the Chronicles of Narnia over the past summer. I sat down with the series and just plowed through them in a few days. I was surprised at how young I had been when I first read them; they’re really great books.

I finished them all... 2 years ago

this past year. So worth it! I really enjoy them and they hold a special place on my bookshelf—near Harry and the gang.

I re-read The Magician’s Nephew this winter, but then I loaned my set to my older sister after she had surgery, and they’re still at her house!

The Horse and His Boy 2 years ago

Finished it. Least favorite of all the books, I think, though I still enjoyed it.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe 2 years ago

Finished it. I must have read this book ten times during my life. Can’t get enough. Amazing how the script of the BBC movie is so similar to the actual book. I wish all movies were as true to the book. I wonder how the new version is.

Next up: The Horse and His Boy (I’m not in the mood for Prince Caspian just yet.)
