back from his second tour there and no mention of him having to go back. Thank God for his safety! ;-)

He’s back baby!!!!

Got his awards yesterday, told to pack his bags last night, he’s coming home on the next available plane!

He’s had his de-briefing meeting earlier today (last night for me) and in 2 WEEKS he will start the journey home!

nice long talk this morning – He’ll be going back his house in Alabama on May 19th!

We’ve passed the halfway point – Sunday! Just got done talking on the phone YAY! He’s staying busy which I guess is good and in the emails this week and talking now he said two things that are actual plans for when he gets home…gotta smile the whole day now!

I am happy to say that he has made it home. He has leave for two weeks and has already been home for one. This being the reason I have not been on 43Ts for a while. Much time has been with him down the pubs of Manchester, or just having a laugh and getting up to general mischief. He’s in good spirits and has some crazy stories to tell. Unfortuantely, he has to go back in a week until June, but laready we have had great nights out and many a story to tell. Thanks alot for all your cheers and support on this one guys and dolls….part 1 is complete!

We’ve exchanged email everyday since last Saturday, now no return one, and now I was gone until this evening and none… MISS HIM!

So the person I made this “thing” about just came home on Saturday but I just found out another friend of mine is shipping out soon. I guess I can take this off the list for a couple of weeks and be very thankful that he “only” has a few broken bones as he says. I’m very worried about his psychological scars but in the 5 years that I’ve known him and he’s been in the Marines he has coped very well, and unfortunately seen worse things than Iraq had to offer.

I’m kinda getting tired of writing negative stuff on this site now, simply because I’dlike to think I’m a postive person who looks towards the best side of things. Two of his close mates over there have been shot and killed, and it’s just not reasuring to know he is in the line of fire. The sooner he’s home the better.
