When I was little I read a book (I can’t remember the title, about a babysitter and the 3 kids she’s watching getting kidnapped), and the place they were being held in had a secret door leading up to a little room in a tower (it was one of those Victorian style houses). A couple years ago when I was living in Germany we toured Neuschwanstein several times, and it has all those hidden passages and stuff so the servants could move around the castle without being seen. I love that sort of thing, I can’t wait to build my own house with secret rooms to turn into reading rooms, and passages to move around.
