I work for a home health agency that provides services to people who can live in thier own homes with a litle help,
who OTHERWISE would be in a nursing hone or other institution.
We get updates on all the required tests etc regularly. To continue working for the company we have to pass all these classes (not hard, but still with a little “edge” to the testing, so sometimes people are a bit tense, as they still have full workloads and tight schedules.)
During one of the CPR classes we were taking turns working on Ressuci-Annie, which is a lifesize doll consisting of a head and torso and the mechanism to practice CPR skills on…at one point we are instructed to attempt to try to get the “victim” to respond and to listen…and I reported “She says she can’t feel her legs!!” :0
the class cracked up :D
It wasn’t “original”—I got that out of an old Readers Digest and was tickled to be able to use the joke in a real life situation. :)
