I watched results from roughly 6 PM until about 1:30 AM. Then, listened to them on my drive home and then turned on my radio when I got home. I’m back at the office now trying to get caught up on everything in terms of VA and MT Senatorial races. It looks to me like America has spoken. I can’t wait to see Shrub’s speech at 1.

Local results are mixed

Some of the local candidates I support are winning, others are not. When I really think about it, most of the important races, the ones I will be able to benefit politically from in the next two years, are going my way. I’ll be able to walk through the state capitol building and be greeted by first name – that will feel odd! I have some lobbying to do in the late winter / early spring, so hopefully it will help me get some appointments!

I can barely tear myself away from the election results. On our county site, it shows live results as the precincts report. So far only one precinct has reported, and there were only 8 people voting! It’s hilarious. No wonder they could turn in their results so quickly! Doesn’t take too long to count to 8!
