    Absnasm is so freaking happy!

Yum yum yum. 23 months ago

Since when did we decide that chemicals were the best things to put on our faces, bodies and hair to keep us pretty? Nature is there for a reason – to look after us as we look after it – and it’s with this in mind that I gradually switched all my beauty products (makeup excluded) to Lush ones over the course of the year. I’m now using Lush shampoo bars, hair conditioners, facial cleansers, soap, perfume and deodorant, and I’ve never felt more fragrant. My skin is loads better too, softer and smoother, and my hair’s in great condition despite the drying highlights. I haven’t yet switched moisturisers because a) I’m halfway through a bottle I bought long before the switch and b) I’m unconvinced by Lush’s efforts – they’re a bit too greasy for me, and don’t have enough SPF in them. But I may give them a go at some point.

The best knock-on effect, though, is that people frequently go, “Mmm, what’s that lovely smell?” and more often than not, it’s me and my hair. You can’t argue with that.

Well most of my products... 2 years ago

are now lush products, with a few from the Body Shop and The Beehice thrown in.
I’m so sick of drug-store product filled with gross chemicals.

Yay! The US discon items should be coming in soon. I am so psyched!! I can’t wait to try some of the things I’ve never used like Gentil Lentil or Uluru or Blue Skies Foam. August is going to be SO much fun!! Also, the new bubble bar slices? I haven’t tried them yet, but I’m going to try to get to the store tomorrow. I hope Green Day smells like Tramp. Good times will be happening in my tub

fresh & gorgeous 3 years ago

I’ve just tried Fresh Pharmacy face cleaner for the first time. It’s wonderful if you follow it up with a bit of gorgeous face cream. My face is so soft and fragrant. Henna’d my hair last week too. Caca rouge is some great stuff! My supplies are getting low, but luckily my birthdays coming up so it’s going to be a long lushy list!

    ohboyohboyohboy! 3 years ago

Just bought Karma perfume and two massage bars. absoultley cannot wait for them to come in the mail!!!

I already have (a rapidly dwindling supply) of karma kream, and the smell of it is heavenly. My brother says it smells like hippys, but what does he know? (holly the hippy, if you are reading this…I highly doubt you smell like my lotion;D)

I can’t stop running in and sniffing my Snow Fairy. I’m pretty sure it’s an addiction now. I really wish they’d keep some of their xmas items up longer. In the middle of the summer I know i’ll be craving Ruby Red Slippers and the Snow Fairy.
I think tonights going to be a Fairy Jasmine bath kinda night. I’m gonna be the best smelling chick on the block.

I am lucky enough to have a sister who is an Assistant Manager at my local Lush shop so have had lots of help in finding the right products for me (I also love Big shampoo)!! I now never have a bath or shower without using Lush and when visiting friends or going away I have to take my stash with me!! It’s absolutely divine stuff, it’s not tested on animals (nor are any of the ingredients), many of the products are vegan and it’s all fresh (no nasty chemicals)!! Have also dabbled in some “b never too busy to be beautiful”, they have some great perfumes! Mmm… Well done me! :-)
