    Funeral Plans 3 years ago

This topic fascinates me, only today we are mourning the death of a beloved family pet, Charlie the Hamster. I wonder how Charlie would have planned his funeral if he had been able!

Seriously though, I think that death is treated far too lightly these days, families have to deal with hard decisions when they are least prepared, emotionally, to do so.

So, my new business – FORETHOUGHT PRE-FUNERAL PLANNING – forethought@hotmail.co.uk offers funeral planning in person or online so that you can get the funeral and the send off that you would like and it means that your loved ones can devote more of their time to help them grieve for you and to begin the recovery process.

    Sounds Morbid... 4 years ago

I know it sounds odd, but I’ve been to several memorial services lately and I actually really like to go to funerals. I could be a professionally cryer for funerals – I don’t even have to know the person very well. Anyway, I think it’s a good exercise in perspective and to get you to think about what your life means and where it’s going, what legacy are you leaving behind, who will mourn your loss. I would just plan the songs and stuff but I think it will get me thinking about my life and beyond. It’s foolish to deny or ignore what we know will happen to us all.
