    young art 2 years ago

I’m only a teenager and still in school, but i’d love so much to get my art up for people to see. I did a oil painting of a dancer once that got put in a gallery for a show, which was amazing but thats all. I definatly taking art with me in live because its such an easy way to get all the feelings i have out.

Since I’ve sold 3 pieces of my artwork on eBay I’m feeling more like an artist now. I’ve gained some confidence so I may contact one of the local places after the new year and see if I can display some of my work.

My Artwork on Display 3 years ago

I would love to have my artwork displayed somewhere, anywhere, even if it’s not a gallery (which I hope to open someday). I did some research and found there are places in the community who do “call outs” for various types of artwork to be displayed in their establishments. One such place is a trendy little coffee house/cafe. I’m considering giving them a call to see what kind of pieces they’re interested in.

I need more art 3 years ago

Someday this might be worth doing but first I need to do more artwork, whether it’s writing or drawing or something.

Don't know why 3 years ago

but I think it’d be cool. I guess maybe some of my photographs or something.

i have a ton of paintings just sitting in stacks around my apartment. what i really need to do is get real, and find a place to display my work.
would it be pretentious to put my own artwork in my coffeeshop whenever i open it up?
