Last Lent I got through it absolutely fine, but literally the second midnight struck at the end I was tucking into a bag. However, I’ve decided to give them up for Lent yet again and see if I can resist them at the end. If nothing else to be eating less than I have been the last few months would be an accomplishment!
How to stop eating crisps
How I did it: I gave them up as part of my eating healthier goal. I don't even like crisps that much anyway, there just kind of there for when I get peckish. By eating something healthy instead or having a glass of water I don't eat crisps any more, it just takes willpower.

Havent had any crisps yet, not missing them either so far. If I feel peckish between meals, ill have a banana or apple. Going good so far!
I have been eating at least 1 if not 2 bags of crisps per day for years now, this year i want to cut down loads, and hopefully stop eating them altogether.
(as I write this I have gone 3 days without crisps)
Theres only about 2 weeks left until Easter, thus ending Lent and my obligation not to eat crisps. Its been so easy though that I may just not start eating them again; I’m a bit worried that if I start again I’ll fall back into the old routine!
Day one and all is good. I recently read a few articles in magazines/newspapers etc to scare myself off very fatty foods, and the crisps is a start. I may still occasionally eat them when I’m out purely because they are so easy, but I’ll aim for the lower fat ones then. I’m determined this time! If I can last a week I’m fine, its just the first few days of denying myself their unhealthy yet tasty goodness. ;)
This is just a nightmare, the longest i’ve lasted is a day! It would be fine if i lived on my own where i could just not buy them, but as i don’t head off to uni until September im living with my family of fellow crisp-lovers. I have been eating more fruit though, so at least something good has come out of this. I’ll try for a few more weeks, but i may have to just accept failure – the damn things are too tasty! XD
So i lasted from Saturday morning until a couple of hours ago.

Im not giving up yet though! For one thing i didn’t really enjoy that packet of crisps, which can only be a good thing.
..last week infact. I lasted a day! If theres one food i am obsessed with more than any other its crisps. If i have any hope of achieving my ‘lose a stone’ goal within the next year then this is the way to start doing it.
Now the question is when to start? Monday. The best day to try and break a habit is Monday! Actually its half term from tomorrow afternoon, so i’ll start Saturday. Wish me luck!
My love of the tasty crisp has been destroyed. These days i dont even consider crisps when im feeling hungry, partly due to a constant stash of granny smiths in my room. I hereby conclude this ‘thing’. Hurrah!
