I got a pre-interview on Monday! woo hoo!

I put in my application a couple of weeks ago, talked to a mangager who told me they should be hiring around the end of August.

Well, I was offered a position this week, but it was too late. I already took the other job in Cali. Alas, someday me and the Apple store will connect!
