I follow what gives me joy. Right now it’s dancing. 6 years ago

I’m open to try almost anything once! 6 years ago

amymann.etsy.comWOW!!!

I did it! I can’t believe I’m done. I’m really glad that I used the challenge feature, because it forced me to actually think about it and get it done. Otherwise, I would have let it sit here and probably just forgotten about it.

My first challenge is complete! Whoo hoo! 6 years ago

amymann.etsy.com# 10- I'm honest

I hate lies! I don’t like to lie, and I don’t like when other people lie. I hate people who are fake. I act like me, not someone else. If I don’t like you, I don’t pretend that I do. If someone asks my opinion, I’ll tell you the truth, not what you want to hear. That’s the way it should be, and that’s the way I try to be. 6 years ago

amymann.etsy.com# 9- I do have a little talent

I can decorate cakes and make candy, like chocolates, fudge, peppermint bark, etc. I’m not an expert or a professional, but I do pretty good. It’s a lot of work to do either one, but I it’s fun, and I like to do it now and then. It’s always so satisfying when you finish one, and I love being able to make special cakes for my friends and family. I even sold lots of candy over the holiday, and I’ve sold a few cakes too. I’m really excited, because I may be doing my first wedding cake for someone’s actual wedding, not just practice! Yay!! 6 years ago

amymann.etsy.com# 8- I've got mad decorating skills!

Haha! I’m not really that great, but I think I’ve done pretty good with our house so far. I always gets positive comments about the stuff that I’ve done. One of my favorite projects I did was taking this really pretty wrapping paper that I had and framing some of the pieces to use as art on the walls. Every once in a blue moon, I think up a pretty good idea for myself.

If only I was really good and could do this for a living. Now that would be awesome! 6 years ago

amymann.etsy.com# 7- I volunteer

I think this would be one of the things that I’m most proud of. Every week I volunteer at the cat rescue shelter near my house. I clean cages, empty litter boxes, change food and water, and play with all the adorable, wonderful, cute, fluffy, soft, furry little kitties. I absolutely love animals, and it gives me a huge sense of accomplishment to know that I’m helping to make a difference! 6 years ago

amymann.etsy.com# 6- I'm nice

I’m a nice person, and I try my best not to be a huge bitch to anyone. Of course, there are those days or moments, and some people just make it almost impossible for you to act civilized towards them. I’m usually a bit quiet when I first meet someone, and sadly, some people sometimes mistake that as being rude or snobbish. But that’s not the case, and overall, I’m a pretty friendly person and try to help people out whenever I can. 6 years ago

amymann.etsy.comAt the half-way mark!

Wow, this is hard. I know I’ve already gotten half done, but it’s hard for me to say “good” things about myself, because I just don’t want to come across as arrogant or full of myself, like I’m so perfect. I know that I’m not perfect, and sometimes I’ll still do things that contradict some of the things I’ve listed, but overall, they are true for me 95% of the time. 6 years ago

amymann.etsy.com# 5- I can admit when I'm wrong

If I make a mistake, I’m not afraid to admit it. If I do something wrong, I’m not afraid to apologize and say I’m sorry. True, sometimes it’s a lot harder than other times…like when you were SO sure that you were right or when you’re having to apologize or admit you’re wrong to someone you don’t particularly like very well. Sometimes I’m really good at apologizing as soon as I realize I’ve done something wrong. Like when I’m having a bad day and I snap at my husband for no reason at all. But sometimes it is a lot harder and I have to put a little more effort into it, but in the end, I always try to admit my mistakes. I think it would be nice if more people weren’t afraid to admit they are wrong sometimes instead of always thinking they’re right about everything. 6 years ago

amymann.etsy.com# 4- I'm open-minded

I always try to listen to other people’s ideas and opinions. If I don’t agree with someone, I don’t think they’re stupid or try to argue and tell them they’re wrong. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and beliefs. No matter how extreme the situation, I always try to imagine how they feel or what they might be going through. And I know that no matter how hard I try, I’ll never really know how they feel, because I’m not them. That’s why people need to try and understand other’s situations. Even if you don’t understand, you have to remember that they aren’t you, and if you don’t agree with them, there’s a good chance it’s because they’re very different from you. And that’s ok. 6 years ago

amymann.etsy.com# 2- I'm dependable

I think (or at least I hope) that I’m pretty dependable. If someone needs my help, I will be there to do whatever I can. If you ask me to do something, I do it. I don’t promise to do things and then just sit on my ass and do nothing. I try to be there for whoever needs me, whether it’s a tiny little favor or a huge task. 6 years ago

amymann.etsy.com# 1- I'm a good friend

Now, just like everyone else, I’m not perfect, but I really do think this is one of my best qualities. I LOVE my friends. I’m know I still make mistakes sometimes, but I try very hard to always be there any time they need me, cheer them up when they are down, act like a complete idiot to make them laugh, etc. Even friends I don’t get to see much anymore are still in my thoughts.

I try very hard to keep in touch with people that are far away, and even if I haven’t seen them in years and don’t get a chance to talk to them often, I like to send them messages or other little reminders out of the blue to remind them that I’m here for them.

I almost never forget a birthday. Even my long ago friends that I don’t get a chance to see or talk to the rest of the year can usually count on a card, text, message, call or something on their birthday, because friends are one of the most important things to have…GOOD friends, REAL friends are hard to find, amazing to have, and well worth working hard to keep! 6 years ago

amymann.etsy.comGotta do it

This is one of those goals that I wanted to do, but never really get around to working on. And I know that I’ll never actually take the time to get it completely done (at least not in any reasonable amount of time in this century most likely) unless I really try, which is why this is my challenge goal right now. It’s one of those that I CAN do, I just have to do it, and now I have a little extra motivation. 6 years ago
