I’m 19 years old and I’ve never had a boyfriend. A lot of people think I’m crazy, but I just haven’t met someone I’m that crazy about. This sounds awful but it always just feels like guys are either too good for me, or not good enough… and I don’t see the point in dating someone just for the sake of dating someone.
Also, I think I want to get to know the guy as a friend first, but I barely know any of the guys that ask me out, so I just politely decline. My friends say I’ll never know if I don’t give them the chance… maybe they’re right?
It’s a little discouraging sometimes. I know I’m still young, but a lot of people my age are having kids or thinking about marriage.
