    What's going on? 13 months ago

    Lately a whole lot more strangers have been staring at me. Some of them even smirking… Not in a bad way mind you. But as the result I have been slipping from this. Why do they stare at me so often now? It’s like a faery godmother suddenly made me pretty, or something.

    I smiled at some guy in an escalator about a week ago and at a kid staring at my hat. It was fun!

    I’ve never had any trouble doing this—but even with a friendly smile, they tend to look away as though they weren’t looking at you. Children are the only exception. They get excited and laugh!
