I think I have decided not to run the 10K. I am not sure my knees would take it, or my back. It is just too hard on my body. I have pretty much given up running. I might change this goal to a 10 mile hike instead. That would be nice.

Ran a 5K this weekend and I ran the whole thing, slowly. 33:03 I am pleased with that time because last year’s 5K time was almost 38 minutes since I walked some of it. There were a lot of hills. I am running the same race as last year in 3 weeks and hope to beat that time for sure.
I signed up for 2 5Ks. The first one is next week, then another in a month. I am going to need new running shoes now.
A woman who I help at work sometimes gave me a sign-up for the Mitochondrial walk. That’s a 5K. Then there is a 12K in June. That might be too much, but I’ll definately do the Mito-what run and I’ll do at least the 5K part of the race in june. I love how you can mix runs with fun and good deeds. Whee!
Last year I ran/walked a 5K and was so pleased. It was my first official race and I would like to do it again this year and do better than last.
