We have been through our hard times. He devorced my real mother because of her drug use. He has supported us and loved us with the best of his effort.
How to tell my dad i love him
It made me 
"one sentence can't describe how it feels to tell someone how much they mean to you"
How I did it: I rarely see my father so I knew I would have to tell him on the phone. I one time heard him tell my stepsister that he loved her at the end of their phone conversation, so I decided this was what I had to do. At the end of one of our conversations I said, "ok dad, I have to get going, I love you." It was very casual, but still made me nervous as heck!!! He responded "I love you too" and now we always end our conversations with an I love you.

Okay so it was this night where i got cranky because i needed to do homework, and i just came out of my work so i was tired and hungry and i got mad at him.. i called him things that were.. well.. so not called for… ( i called him a asshole ><!!) i wish i didnt split it, but i got mad.. so now i just want to say to him dad i love you

It took a Father’s Day greeting card “Just knowing you’re there and that you care makes such a difference and reminds me how lucky I am to have you. I wanted to tell you how important you are to me and how much I love you – always.” He cried when he read it. It’s so great, now we hug every time we see each other, not just at funerals and special occasions. I’ll mark this goal as done but I’m going to continue telling him as often as I can.

I told my dad today I love him, without choking up. He might not live much longer, and He needed to know it. Never hold back, always let your parents know how you feel. Im glad I had the opportunity that I did.
