I am looking in to starting a Roth IRA and also my 401K benifits from work. I think that getting these started will take a huge step in the right direction.

I turned 28 on Saturday 11/11. Not so young anymore, however I came to realise I still have plenty of time to plan my future: While visiting sorted.org.nz I found out that by saving only NZ$48 a month would me to live with 80% of my current income if I start saving now and retire at 65 years old.
Pretty good, uh?
Now I need to find a good investment company.
Working toward this goal . . .

. . . I started off by setting aside $1/day and, so far, it’s been steady. It’s a start. I’ll see where I’m at in awhile before I call this done.
