i went a few years ago. it was spectacular.
the only thing is, dont shave your legs for a few days before you go or it stings. same with if you get any cuts.
and while youre there, hike masada. i thought it’d be lame but it was beautiful

Ok, yes I do want to float on it but I’ve hear that the scuba diving is some of the best in the world. I wonder how much lead it will take to actually make you sink there. I’m putting this on my list of up coming trips to investigate.
I wouldn’t exactly say I floated on it, more like in it, as when it made me lay down by pushing my legs up, it made my hair wet. Then when I got upright again, the water dripped into my eyes, which could have blinded me, had I not gotten up onto the dock and run across the scorching hot boards to my towel and dried my eyes and forehead.
It was a scary moment.
About 1/2 of your body floats out of the water with no effort. Very weird.
Pretty cool but not life changin or anything, and OMG if you have a cut the pain is sooooo bad that salt stings
I did this when I visited Israel in high school. It was quite odd, it’s hard to just stand up – the water pushes your legs to the surface quite easily. I got a little of the water in my eyes and it stung quite a bit. But it was definitely worth it!
i did this kinda-when i was in israel we went to the Dead Sea. stupid me decided to shave my legs before, and i could barely get in the water because it hurt so much! but it’s crazy, there are all these stones made of just salt-very unusual.
