Be a great Godmother

My godson is by far the coolest baby I have ever met. I dont want to just be the person that gives him stuff, because apart from anything else he has very doting grandparents that buy him all that he needs, and a brilliant mum. I would like to be a good godmother by being reliable, knowing him well, and being helpful to him mum, not that she ever seems to need help.

I’m making time for a Godmother/daughter day every three weeks or so. We started by going to see a movie, pinball, and ice cream. This month, we’re going shopping or to another movie if the weather’s too hot.

She’s eight, almost nine. Other than giving stuff…how to bond?
