Must go back 3 months ago

I went to Ireland with two of my cousins and some other family a few years ago and all three of us are dying to go back one day.

Ah.... the Motherland 5 months ago

I lived in Ireland for a couple months in the summer of 2007. It seems so long ago, but I can’t help but remembering all of the little details of that world. I would love to take my fiancee and daughter with me. I want to show the place where I first lived on my own completely. I want to show them the place where I found out how to be me.

i miss you ireland! 12 months ago

i went to stay with some family in ireland a couple of years ago and it was honestly one of the best things i have ever done. i met some amazing people and completely rediscovered myself, i love everything about the place and would love a chance to go back and relive the experience all over again!

Go back to Ireland 22 months ago

My fiance’s family is from Ireland and we have spent enough time there for me, a California girl, to realize I would be very much at home. I want to work towards buying a home on the Republic of Ireland, to visit and live in some of the year, within the next 8 years.

Get me back home! 22 months ago

I recently moved to the states with my American wife (who I married 4 years ago) and it’s the biggest mistake i ever made (moving that is).
I just read an article from 2005 in The Economist saying that Irelnad is the best place to live IN THE WORLD!

Someone help me figure out how to convince my wife to move back with me PLEASE!

I want to go back to Ireland!!! 2 years ago

Ok so I visited Ireland in June 2007 for the Irish Open Dancing competition, and I have been wanting to back ever since. I went to Dublin first for the competition, where I stayed in an apartment for about a week. Then, we left Dublin to travel around for another week. The first day, we went to Glendalough Monastery (my absolute FAVORITE place on earth) and Powerscourt Gardens, where I promptly fell in a puddle, and we ended up at an inn in Cork for the first night. We kissed the Blarney stone, and I led a group of about 10 people to the very back of the pitch-black dungeon. The second day, we traveled about some more and drove to Killarney, where the most beautiful place was—The Gap of Dunloe. Day 3, Limerick, where we stayed in a really cute bed and breakfast near Ross castle, and nearly killed ourselves in a 2-hour horseback tour of the country roadsthe next day.. Fourth day, Clifden and Galway, and we stayed in Ballynahinch Castle, but we were so dead tired from the horses that we didn’t even care where we were. Day 5, Cliffs of Moher, where we were REALLY starting to lose our minds-I guess that happenes if you’ve been a nomad in a foreign country for 2 weeks. Day 6, we made our way back to Dublin so we could catch our plane at the airport. The plane ride was, well, not the best experience of my life, as the plane was shaking and rocking the whole 6 and half hours. Day seven, New York City, and we had to stay overnight because our flight was cancelled. Another short plane ride and we were home.

Progress 2 years ago

This one might be happening sooner than anticipated. We found out we have a number of options to actually move to the UK or possibly Ireland next year. Things are still in the very early stages, but it’s looking good. Can’t wait!
