Wow, I actually did get back to England, just like I wanted to a few years ago when I set this goal! My now boyfriend invited me as part of a sport competition and I made it work with my schedule, even with all the craziness involved in planning. This time, I saw a lot more beautiful things and was able to make more of the experience – there’s a big difference between visiting a country as a young teen, and a an adult. One major difference was drinking in the pubs :). The food was not very good at all, but overall I had a splendid time. Even the one day (we were lucky) when the weather was bad, it was a beautiful place to see. We also go to go to Sweden (which was much more awesome!). 1 year ago

I spent 3 months in a tiny village called Mottram in the Greater Manchester area in 2007. I absolutely fell in love with the gorgeous countryside and the friendly, welcoming atmosphere. I want to go back so much I can taste it. In fact, I’m currently making arrangements for a trip to Nottingham in mid-February. Yay! I can hardly wait. 2 years ago
