I suppose I could make my own via Access, or MySQL. I really like the reminder feature too. My new goal is to spend part of every day working toward at least one of my 41 things.

I need to declutter before I Inventory. Our house is filled with stuff, but some of it is junk and the other is stuff which needs to be tracked. Maybe this will be on my list for a few years at the rate I’m going now.

I really need to do this. After Katrina, a big discussion in the news is about home owners Insurance, and what is covered. I went to the http:\\www.iii.org and they have a great site which explains how to determine what insurance I really need. If I lost my home to a fire or flood, is it covered? I think the inventory should be done just to determine that my stuff will be replaced. There is a free database tool on the www.iii.org website; after I start I’ll blog more about how it goes. This is really a big task (not that I have a lot of stuff) but I want to have the proof I’ll need to replace the things in my house. Another topic on the same wavelength is pictures, and the ‘Priceless’ items, family heirlooms, scrap books, things which if they got damaged could never be replaced. I need to actually make digital backups of all this, and store them off site.
