Shangri- “Shangri-La” is a mystical, harmonious valley. Shangri-La has become synonymous with any earthly paradise but particularly a mythical Himalayan utopia — a permanently happy land, isolated from the outside world. The word also evokes the imagery of exoticism of the Orient.

Shangri-La to me= a place of my own, somewhere beautiful… and private… something like a small house painted colorfully with fiesta plates and cups somewhere close to the ocean… where I can see the sunrise.
