I won $1,500 for a somewhat abstract painting I did representing the biochemical process of hemostasis for a biomedical company; it’s the dorkiest thing I could have chosen to enter an art contest in, but it was fun!! Probably because the subject really spoke to me, as nerdy as that sounds. D=
Maybe next time I’ll do a landscape.
