How I did it: I am lucky to have quite a few friends but I am blessed with one who has been with me through thick and thin. We met at school and are still in touch more than 20 years later. I can laugh with her and cry on her shoulder.
I don't know how I did it. We met, and laughed and made cunning plans together and understood each other. And sometimes didn't understand each other but real friendship can handle that. Now I'm older I value my friend even more and I make an effort to stay connected.
Lessons & tips: Don't be afraid to say sorry. And if the shoe is on the other foot be quick to forgive.
Resources: Email - my best friend is on the other side of the world but thanks to email we are as close as when we were hanging out together in our teens.

well, i really don’t know why am i doing this , but guess that everyone here wants to have a best friend for always and that understands you … well , i bet you are thinking everyone finds friends so easily … and true friends . What are true friends for me ? well , people that can be just like your family, that doesn’t like to hurt you , but that keep moving forward with you so that you do not need to live your life alone … I honestly look for it , for a FRIEND, and life taught me how difficult it can be . But i am only a teenager , so guess i have time to find my true friend ,,, realy hope.
well , honestly, i don’t know if it will really work … to be here sharing my thoughts, but … i just wanted people to know that FRIENDS are for ever, so keep your friends, love them and if you have a true friend, you are a very lucky person …

True Friend

I’m a teenager, and sometimes it is harder to make friends at this particular age. I moved schools and have friends that I see about once every three months (really one), but at this new school, I want to make a true friend. A friend that I can call every day, a friend that I can share things with, and a friend that I can laugh and cry with. That is a goal of mine for this year.
