At least I can feel the way my finger dancing on the top of piano keys and feel the beethoven’s way doing it. Beets FTW! 3 years ago

schase10353Learning now

I’ve played inconsistently since I was 5 years old but the hardest song I tried before taking on this feat was the first movement. I’ve forgotten it over the years but I want to get it back soon. However, I’m more interested in the 3rd movement now, honestly. I’ve learned the first part of it and I’m not too frustrated except that I can’t read notes at all. Which SUCKS. 6 years ago

SheddingPlaying this piece

I can read music (albeit.. very slowly) I’ve memorized the begining but I can’t continue further until i’ve perfected the first piece. However, every single time I try, it will not come out perfect.. I will either miss a key, or I can’t make the transition fast enough to make the sound flow. My piano has very hard keys (more so than some more expensive pianos I’ve used) could this be the culprit? 6 years ago

Kimmi445Moonlight's Sonata 3rd Movement

Let me be completely honest: I learned how to play this piece when I was 12 and performed it at 13. It took me a whole year to “perfectly” learn the 2nd and 3rd movements. When I first started learning to play this song, I had had already about 8-9 years of piano experience. I’m not saying it’s impossible… I’m just saying it’s extremely hard to accomplish, but, I praise you for your efforts and it’s definitely worth it! 7 years ago

zebra69step by step how to play this song

I would like to learn how to play this song but I have absolutly no piano experiance. I want to find something that will teach me the song step by step. I dont want to learn how to read music I just want instructions on how to play the song and memorize it. Does anyone have anthing that could hele me? 7 years ago

The_Kat_in_London....and keep practising :)

I stopped practising when I didn’t have a piano anymore. I found a piano shop which allowed me to practise in their storage rooms, later found a local primary school that let me use the piano in their music room after hours, then a church…

But I haven’t got enough time to keep it up, and I found that I can’t just sit down and play away anymore. So back to step one: working through it at snail’s pace, in the private back room of a local pub :) 7 years ago

jenovaisevilThe Journey

All I can say is to practice. I did some other easier pieces first. Then I Sat down for about 5 hours and deciphered it piece by piece 8 years ago
