Well I have made it through Watership down without crying. I have heard it is a classic, so good for me. I can’t wait to watch the cartoon movie. I’m unsure if I would recommend it for children though it is a children’s book is it not? Perhaps like Animal Farm was a children’s book? (Wink wink)
In other news I have got myself a pocket Declaration of Independence/ Constitution of the United States of America. Yeah! For all the good it will do now after the Patriot Act and all. I shall have to get a pocket one of those and I will not be so happy about that one. I may have to cover up the title, I’ll be so ashamed.
Also I have quit my crappy waitress job. The only down side is I will no longer have a bundle of people telling me how smart I am all the time. I’ll miss that, but you know I am only learning and I am not as smart as all that. I just read and listen to the news (NPR) it’s not like I have a PHD in smartness. Well I can say I am no longer the smartest waitress at The Village Inn. (Yea) I realize that is not a lofty title. ;oP

Well, I have rounded up all my books I can do with out, which was hard, and took them to the used book store for exchange. I intend to get some new ones with the credit. I am going to wait for the sale they have in Jan. I have my eye on some political books on Marx Theory and some on History.
I have been consumed with work and bills and just living day to day, week to week, I have stoped recerching thing like I do. I have stoped reading books too. I have kept up on current events and politics, but everything else has suffered. It is like my brain has atrophied. Yuck. Granted I work as a waitress, so not many of my coworkers are intrested in talking about string theroy, but I have no excuse.
