I love my brother, but it’s hard to call him up without him asking me the difficult questions i spend the day trying to avoid. I occasionally send a quick email with photo, and he does the calling.
Sometimes he’s so tired that he’ll just call and say ‘hey’, then be silent for the entire conversation, which is nice.
Thanks to him, our relationship is very strong, despite living on separate continents for the last 12 years. I wish i was strong enough to take on more of the work (of keeping this relationship going.)
